How do I fix my kitchen cabinet.

I used a steam cleaner to get the dirt off of my stained wooden cabinet and the finish came off with the dirt. What should I use to get the cabinet to match again.

just use your steam cleaner on all of your cabinets. then they’ll match

You have to determine what finish was on the doors to start with, I would suggest that you go back to the manufacturer of the cabinets and ask them what the finish was then purchase what is needed for the job. You may also remove a door an take it to a cabinet shop they should be able to tell you the finish on them.

What finish are you trying to obtain. Without knowing that, I would suggest you take a door or a drawer out and take it to any good hardware store where they can tell you what product to use.

as a wood worker for over 60 years i can tell u that u will NEVER get the steamed spot to match the rest,,it may for a little while but the wood will turn color over time and not match,,,your best bet is to do it properly,either clean and paint or strip all the cabinets and start go from there
