Odd chest/throat pains this morning.

I was sitting watching tv and got an acute pressure pain in my lower throat on the right side. i had a sore throat yesterday so i didn’t think anything of it, but a few seconds later i got a matching pain in my chest on the right side. it got very painful, and if it had been on the right and if i were older (i’m 20) i would say i was having a heart attack. i got up and walked around my kitchen for a while until the pain stopped. when i sat back down it returned, not as intense, but i walked some more until i was sure it was gone.

i have a cardiologist who worked with me for about nine months after i complained of persistent racing heart rate/uncomfortably and the fact that my heart seems to race without much stimulation. He insists nothing is wrong with me. Anyone have any ideas that doesn’t include the ER.

Fluorescent or other replacement for halogen floods.

I have 10 recessed fixtures over my kitchen counters that I’ve been using Halogen 50 watt floods or spots (med. base PAR20) in since remodeling several years ago. I don’t want to replace the fixtures, but would like to find an alternative due to the heat produced and energy consumed. I do have a dimmer switch. I would like to find a safe, fairly true color, reasonably priced replacement. Any suggestions/advice.

hi,any ideas what i can use to bring my kitchen cabinet doors back to their former glory.they are like a kinda woodstain colour,but could do with some tlc.how about some woodsoap or suchlike. thanks for any tips (oops,should that read sugarsoap)

What color granite.

I have all white cabinets, painted kitchen “Afterglow”(sherwin williams)and have a tan/carmel/yellow toned tile. You are able to see the living room through the kitchen. The furniture is yellow. yes it is modern style scan design very contemporary style. I am trying to go for a southwestern look but may be selling my house in the future. I DO NOT want black granite. Every time I see white cabinets I see black granite. I don’t like dark solid granite. I need help. Somebody please give me some advice. I want it to be cozy but sharp and modern at the same time.

Apartment falling apart. Can i sue landlord. Help.

For about a year my apartment has been breaking apart. The doors have tearing, the cabinets are peeling. The lock from the front door isn’t reliable. The floor could use some work. Big chunks of the ceiling fall. water leaking from the bathroom’ and kitchen’s ceiling. We have repeatedly called the landlord to come and fix it, but he doesn’t. There are children living here and we don’t have enough money to move out. what laws or acts are against this. i didn’t know what category to put this is

Need suggestions for new kitchen floor & if it is a DIY project.

Would the laminate snap together floor be ok. How hard or easy to install is it. Is it suitable for a kitchen/entrance room because of wet feet etc. Would stick down tile be better choice or a solid piece of vinyl. Probably would need to get vinyl sheeting installed as not sure how it would be a DIY project.

I have heard that you can use olive oil for shaving. How often do you shave and what parts do you shave. And tell me if you have tried olive oil for shaving. I have almost full bottle of extra virgin cold pressed olive oil in kitchen. I am thinking about trying it out for shaving my face.

im moving to my first apartment next month and i need EVERYTHING. from a couch to a potato peeler I need living room,bedroom,dining room furniture. and then i need all the kitchen stuff skillets,pots,flatware,dinnerware,glassware.you get my drift I don’t even own a mop. I’ll be making about 1600 a month but i got to be able to pay my bills first so im wondering if anyone knows of any thrifty ways to achieve this without spending a whole paycheck Ill be living in Austin,Tx if that helps
