Cucumber in a Drawer, is there something wrong with me.
By on May 31st, 2010
Yesterday my mom informed me that I accidentally put a cucumber in our kitchen cloth drawer (where we keep tea towels and the like). I have no recollection of doing this and figured, I was up early, so I was probably just tired. Then I caught myself today, I was about to put milk in a our pantry. What is going on. Could it be stress. Why might I be so absent-minded.
Any idea what this could be while your pregnant.
By on May 30th, 2010
I’m 30 weeks pregnant with my first.
Yesterday night out of no where I suddenly got a bad stomach ache as if though I had eaten something bad along with nausea close to vomiting. But just before I had those symptoms I had just drank a mini cup of half & half. I also have severe heartburn and am afraid it could be listeria for in the morning was still feeling sick with foul smelling gas.
3 days ago I had eaten some moist crumbly queso fresco from a friend and read it was not pasturized infact may carry bacteria. (I found that out later sneaking into her kitchen)
Idk what to think I definitely am going to talk to my o.b. but, can anyone tell me what it could be or is normal. I don’t want to worry anymore
I need ideas for cool wall art for a kitchen.
By on May 29th, 2010
I have an open kitchen/dining area. I want large wall art and something colorful. What are some good suggestions or links. I don’t do the flowers, fairies or girly stuff. I like industrial and clean modern or something funky.
It can be neutral with a wall that is an accent color or I can go colorful all over. The appliances are stainless and black. The cabinets are a neutral toned wood.

“Hey, sleeping beauty, you a wake.”Landers off the stairs and walking toward me in a pair of tight faded blue jeans. he had no shirt on wich let me have a clear view of his sculpted muscles.
I stand up,letting the blanket fall to my feet and stretch. “Lander, did you go out side and see what happened, what made that noise.”
He stiffens “ Yeah , I did. The towns almost all they way destroyed and there are a lot of dead bodies laying around. We need to leave hear. soon. . . what ever did this might come back.” he looks away when he says the last part.
Getting the feeling that hes keeping some thing from me, that he might know what did this, i look at him my gaze locked on the back of his head. It doesn’t make sense , what he. could he be hiding. He turns around and i droope my eyes.
“Hey, are you hungry.” Lander digs in his duffel bag for a minute then pulls out two packets of strawberry pop tarts. Yum,my favorite. I take one from him and pull back the wrapper then chow down.
As soon as we are done eating, I go up stairs to change out of my pock a dot pajamas. I look in my closet for some thing warm and durable since we would be traveling on foot. I find a really warm green hoody under by bed and slip it on over my blue Heroes Angle T shirt. Grabbing my back pack I look around to see if theres anything else ill need and decide on two more pairs of jeans, a couple of shirts and socks. Then I walk to the kitchen and search the dusty cabinets, grabbing what little food there is and put it in my pack.
Lander walks up the stairs wearing a shirt the color of old guacamole and a heavy black coat and puts his pack down next to mine.
I Look over at him and feel so lucky that I have him here to help me. I knew that he would protect me if the need arose. Id rather have him hear with me than any body else.
I start to speak, to tell him how much Ive missed him and that im glad he’s hear but he accidentally cuts me off. “Are you ready to go. I have food, water and a change of clothes.” he held up his gun , “and I have this”. Then he starts to grin “Don’t worry im not going to accidentally shoot you.”
I stand up and grab his hand “Alright, lead the way.”
He bends his head down and kisses me, his long black hair falls forwards, curtaining us from the world. I lose my self in the pleasure of kissing him, not thinking about untold dangers, just feeling his lips move gently at first then harder against mine. After a few heated moments he straitens up,his breathing heavier than normal and leads me to the door, opens it and says some what softly “Are you ready to face the world.”
I squeeze his hand gently and say “i am because your here with me and then i step out of the house behind him
I stop, my mind not ready to accept the horror my eyes met. Bloody bodies are strewn about every were I look, pools of blood stianing the whit side walk red. some of the bodys had there throat torn open others were riddeld with bullet holes. Its horrible.
I lean up against him wishing that he would wrap me in his arms again and kiss me intill he replaced the ugliness in my mind with red hot desire.

I have no idea about Interior design or architecture, just looking for common parameters for a big 4 bedroom house with kitchen, dining, living room, den etc.
question about kitchen remodel.
By on May 22nd, 2010
I have an old outdated kitchen- my oven is one built into the wall and the door no longer works, I am sure I probably could fix it but it needs to be updated anyway (it’s REALLY bad).
needless to say I have a cook top also built in the a laminate counter top.
How hard or expensive would it be to take out the cook top and put in a freestanding stove and oven range. If it makes a difference, I use gas in my kitchen. I know we would have to have the counter top and cabinets beneath it.
then where the oven is, I would like to remove that and maybe put a pantry or storage shelves in it’s place.
I live in an old mobile home, would this even be possible to do. I know it will vary greatly, but does anyone have any clues what this might cost in labor- (of course we would have to buy the range separately)
thanks for the help
