Where can I find a good (free) kitchen design tool.
By on January 31st, 2010
Does anyone know where I can find a good (free) online tool that will let me plug in the detailed measurements of my kitchen and then print out the floor plan. I’d like to be able to save that as a template and then later plug in different ideas for cabinets and an island. We’re planning on having our kitchen re-done and my hand-drawings just aren’t up to the task. Thanks.
I will be moving into a studio apartment with my young toddler. Any space-saving ideas for his furniture.

The studio apartment is one room, with a separate kitchen, and bathroom. We are buying all new furniture, so please give me any ideas you possibly have.
How come Obama “brags” on those saved jobs in fire depts and “cops” as he eloquently puts it.

“Declaring grimly that the city’s finances were “between a rock and a hard place,” Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg unveiled a $63 billion budget proposal Thursday that would eliminate 20 fire companies, increase the cost of truck parking on Manhattan streets by 25 percent and close swimming pools and a 24-hour center for the homeless.””Mr. Bloomberg said Thursday, would be to lay off up to 8,500 teachers and 3,150 police officers, close 15 senior centers and end financing for 500 soup kitchens and food pantries.”

Chefs, what tools and equiptment is needed for taking a resturaunt management.
By on January 27th, 2010
I have been wanting to take this resturaunt management class, and there is a new instructer on his first year of teaching and all he say’s is that we need uniforms, binders, portfolios, and note books. I want to be ahead of the game, is there any other important kitchen tools that might be very handy and useful that instructors dont tell us about. much help is appreciated. Thank you everyone.

I’m playing a MUD, and when I go into this room with the name “The Kitchen”. This is the description:
If a mad scientist ever decided to focus his efforts on cooking, this would
be his secret laboratory. Just about every cooking gadget ever invented seems
to be in here somewhere. The truly frightening thing is that they all seem to
be well used. This includes the various things that look like torture
devices, but can be presumed to be designed for culinary purposes only
because they are in a kitchen.
When I further examine the gadgets, I see an oven. When I examine the oven, I see a handle. When I examine the handle, I get this:
Something is engraved in the handle:
T___o_f_r_h_r___o___u_t_v_n_s_.
The area is filled with gremlins. The person who made this puzzle is known for them being really close to impossible. Anybody know.

My house is quite large and modern. There are two floors, on the top floor there is five bedrooms and three bathrooms, on the bottom floor there is a kitchen, a lounge, a conservatory, and a dining table. The house is open plan and the open spaces make the house look larger. The flooring on the bottom floor is made of wood and the walls are coloured white. The flooring on the top floor is carpet and the walls are coloured white in the hall and a light yellow cream colour in the bedrooms. There is a big television on the bottom floor surrounded by sofas. There is also 2 computers, a mac and a dell. I think my house is modern without being too plain and boring. It is a cozy house.
I woke up at about six thirty in the morning. I had a quick shower and put on the uncomfortable school uniform. Then I went downstairs to have breakfast which was cereal and toast. After breakfast, I finished homework and packed my bags. I left the house at seven fifty.
When I get home this evening I will finish my homework. It will probably take two hours. After homework I will have dinner at six thirty to seven thirty. Then I will have a shower and relax for two hours by watching the television or using the computer before going to bed.
Yes, there are a number of differences. Firstly, on the weekend I wake up at nine in the morning but during the week I have to wake up at six thirty in the morning. Secondly, on the weekend I have more time to relax than during the week and I can stay up later.
Kids can say the funniest things at the most odd times.

My daughter came to visit this weekend with my lovely granddaughter Alissa and her husband Troy. Alissa is six and adorabe. She takes dance and likes to show Nana what she can do. She can be a little stinker sometimes but not for Nana. Alissa did not have her leotard so she just did her dance in her top and panty. Daddy told her to not jump on the furniture then minutes later not to twirl around the figurines which she continue to do and knocked one too the floor where it broke. Oh poor baby then got put over Daddy’s lap for a spanking. She has to learn to listen to Daddy but it was heartbreaking to hear. My son in law does not spank very hard at all which he shouldn’t. I went in the kitchen and try to get my mind on something else while Alissa got punished in Nana’s chair.
This was the cute part if there was one. Daddy had his coffee sitting on the endtable next to the chair. Allisa knocked it over by accident with her foot. I heard her ask Daddy “am I going to get a spank’in for that too Daddy.” I couldn’t help but chuckle.
I just had to write this eventho it is a weak question.
Don’t children sometimes say the funniest things at the oddest times.
Best way to impress landlord.

The landlords coming round to inspect the house (make sure were looking after it properly) but me and my sister smashed my bedroom window and smashed in my bedroom door, im sleeping in the laundry room at the moment. Just before I came online me and my sister had a massive fight and smashed the kitchen island. Mom and dad will go crazy - we will be evicted. My little brother helped to clean up the mess by burning the remains of the island but he forgot to take it outside first. Hes such a tard. we used the garden hose to put the fire out and moved the rug over where the island was - do you think the landlord will notice.
Recently the conservatory and the landlords dog who we look after were smashed, any ideas.
Please help me find ways to cover this mess up.
How much would it cost for new sheetrock and fixing ceiling tiles.
By on January 21st, 2010
I’ve been thinking of maybe moving into my grandmothers house now that she has passed away. No one has lived in the house since December of 2007 and it has kind of gone down hill since. In the dining room between the kitchen and the den, the ceiling, which is sheetrock that has the circular.or flower design don’t remember what you call it is messed up in the corner. I guess it has leaked where it rained sometime and there is black mold growing in that spot where it leaked. I know the black mold is dangerous. Does that mean I need to redo the whole ceiling or just that one spot. I know the black mold showed up sometime in 2009. Also, in one of the bedrooms she had the tile ceiling and part of it is trying to fall in where it has leaked and the same problem in the den in one area. So with that do I replace all the tiles or just the ones trying to fall in. Or should I change it out to sheetrock. One issue is the den ceiling has these dark brown wooded things going across the top of the ceiling. Not sure what you would call it. Anyways.I didn’t realize how much work was involved until I went yesterday. The ceilings wasn’t like that til recently because no one has lived there in a while. Also, it needs a new roof because the shingles are old. I was told those shingles are dangerous ones consisting of abestos because my fiance said it looked like some from way back that they don’t use anymore. It’s a very nice roomy house, but my grandmother just never really changed it up that much. I just need some opinions on what I need to do and some estimates.
