Why American Men treated with no respect i dont understand.

By on December 2nd, 2009

I come from Eastern Europe and met great American friends. So i invite 5 of them over for dinner and vodka. They bring their wife and i dont care. Why dont wifes leave us alone. They would stare their husbands down from kitchen when we toast and take shots. What is this. why dont these bossy women let Man be a man in America. And the 5 friends so weak and fear the womens. They eyed the husbands so they dont drink smoke too much.so weirdd here. I never seen this treatment in Russia or any other european country. The women do their thing while man enjoys with friends feasting smokeing and drinking.unbelivable.
What is guy night out. Others are not American. We dont do “bars” in our caps and cheap china clothing.we dress chique and do things at home. Our conversations are politics history and business not “sports””boobies” etc.Women in this country have made american men Pansy.

Here in America, we consider it disrespectful to treat women as property, lesser human beings, or of a different level of importance than men. In short, in the eyes our culture, you are disrespectful of women. The men don’t “fear” their wives, they love them. Loving someone typically means wanting to spend time with them, and not ignoring them when you are together, or expecting them to entertain themselves with people who they’ve never met while you’re off having fun with your friends.

I don’t see anything respectful about making your guests unwelcome. If you want to have a guy’s night out, have a guy’s night out. Be sure to specify that it’s a guy’s night out. Most men don’t have “guys night out” at home. You might want to meet at a bar or something for that.

Why you expect Americans to have the same habits and cultural understandings as you is beyond me. If you’re new to the country, you might find it helpful to get a book about American etiquette so you have an understanding of what people do and don’t do. It will save you a lot of frustration and help keep you from offending others.

Ok, it’s not all american women that do that, I’m not married yet, but I have never been like that. when we get together with friends, we ALL eat , drink and smoke together. You’re friends wives just fall under the category of a naggy pain in the a** wife. They feel they need to control their husbands for some reason. They are the type of wife that don’t let their husband go out on their own, no porn, strip clubs, sports and all that crap.Which I really don’t care about, me and my soon to be husband do everything together, drink, watch sports, generally have fun, and some of these wives just feel if they have kids, or they are married their fun has gone out the window and so should their husbands.sorry. Women are a little more dominate here, but good relationships are partnerships, and nobody should tell anybody what they can or can’t do. I don’t think they fear their women, it’s just if they don’t act right, they will probably get no sex that night.lol

Women are more dominant in this country for several reasons:

    1) If guys hit the girl physically, they go to jail. If a woman hits a guy, the police won’t do anything.
    2) Men only listen to women to get some action in the bedroom (majority)
    3) Women are very moody in this country and have MANY rights by the government in which a country like Russia limits rights to women so they have a leash on and dont do what you say they did.

ITS SO funny you ask this.I am currently in Eastern Europe visiting (Romania) and my dad seems to treat his gf like a machine. She is Romanian he is American. Things she puts up with NEVER would have flyed with my mother or the majority of american women. I think its a good thing that in America we women expect to be treated as equals rather than objects, sorry you dont know any better
