When you wake up in the morning, could you please sweep round the compound and water the flowers. In addition, i beg you to wash the dishes in the kitchen sink. I hate to bother you further, but it is important that you also ensure that the dining and sitting room furniture are cleaned. Please remember that we have to be at the bus stop by 8am on our way to school.
Do you think I can trust someone I met online.

There was an ad on Kijiji, a student looking for Cirque du Soleil tickets. She said she was on a student budget and couldn’t afford the minimum $100 ticket, and those are for bad seats. She was hoping someone could donate 1 ticket to her, or at least offer her a cheap deal.
I have two tickets which I might not be able to use. The tickets I have are actually VIP tickets. Amazing seats, backstage pass, champagne, the whole works. Lets say they cost more than the $100 minimum. Anyways, I responded to her, saying she can have both tickets IF she can promise me that she and whoever she is taking will volunteer for a whole day at a soup kitchen.
I am hoping that by doing something nice for a stranger, it will inspire this stranger to do something nice as well. But do you think I can trust a random person to do this. Or would there be a tendency to just take the ticket, say “yeah, I’ll do it next week” but end up never volunteering.

i would like to know how can i design and recommend a system of remuneration for the Food and Beverage Department bar/restaurant/kitchen.Including both monetary and non monetary incentives(different level, implications)
Can you recommend an online restaurant supplier for pots and pans that will sell to the public.
By on October 27th, 2009
I recently read in the book kitchen confidential that the place to get the best pots and pans for the money is from a restaurant supplier instead of a department store. Can you recommend any online vendors that will sell to the public. The suppliers in my area are only open during working hours and I can never seem to get there when they’re open.

am i putting too much money into my house.
By on October 25th, 2009
i bought a house last year that was built in ‘79. so far, i’ve spent about 10k redoing 2 bathrooms, sprucing up the basement, and a good amount of landscaping. i’m planning on doing the kitchen and the last bath as well. i’ve been doing the work myself, and i’ve been using nicer materials like travertine floor tile and granite countertops. i’m still not sure whether or not i will sell it in 3-5 years or hold onto it for a rental. it just seems that, living by myself, i would be able to save more money with an apartment that has no repairs. i bought the house at the bottom of the market, so at it’s remodeled condition, i would profit about 40-50k. it sounds good, but is my time and labor really worth it.
Is there a kitchen thermometer that I can use to find out the exact temperature for baking.
By on October 24th, 2009
I have this amazing oven it is so good for baking but unfortunately it doesn’t have a control panel that shows the real temperature. I think having such a tool will solve my problem
I live in Jordan and the oven I am talking about is called an “Arabic oven” it’s very popular around here and easy to use. it’s a cubical shaped oven with four legs to stand on. it works by connecting that oven to a cylindric-shaped metal bottle filled with gas with a rubbery hose. I can control the quantity of gas through a small tab opening it counterclockwise or closing it clockwise I hold a lighter or a match inside the oven near a firing unit waiting for the gas to come out from that unit then boom it’s lit.
What is the name of this song.
By on October 23rd, 2009
I watched this video once on TV but I don’t remember the name of the artist nor the song.I know that in the song title there are the words smoke/fire/burn(one of those 3) It’s a male singing. In the vid, the band members/singer don’t appear. It shows a kitchen(I think) and then some furniture and fuel is thrown gradually on the furniture and they all catch fire until everything is burning. The vid goes on like this, there’s no other scenario. That’s all I remember. I hope someone can help me
If you’ve read these books, I need suggestions.
