Okay so I’m not gonna be in town for halloween or thanksgiving or anything until christmas, I have nothing to look forward to but christmas. So I am trying to think of homemade christmas gifts. I really like baking so I want to do something that involves the kitchen.
Heres my ideas:
for people who live by me:
gingerbread men in those cute little containers for x-mas
for people who live in another city or province:
cookie in a jar thing
if you have any other ideas thank you. and also do you have any soft gingerbread men recipes.
oh and you know those emails that go around near christmas time that have christmas recipe websites in them. do you know any of those websites. thanks.

Ok, well, I have worked at an Art school for about 4 years. I think the best gift is called a “scratch pad”. What you need: 1 piece of cardboard (size doesn’t matter, no pun intended
oil pastels, and black tempura paint mixed with Indian ink and dishwasher liquid. Step 1: Color your piece of cardboard (black or Grey don’t show) and you color it whatever you want. After, you paint the ink mixed with paint and dish washing liquid, stir all that up, and paint over your pastel. Paint over your design, and wait for it to dry. Once it drys, you use a pin or sharp object and scratch off the paint with it. If you make a mistake, just paint over it.
I know this has nothing to do with cooking, but its a wacky idea, haha.
