What is the benefit (if any) of a freestanding stove.

We’re redesigning our kitchen and I’m just looking at various options that are around.
(I do a lot of cooking)
And unfortunately we’re on a pretty tight budget.

If you cook a lot then get a double oven and a large stove top and grill. Have fun cooking.

I have a Viking - huge for the most part. Really reliable temp wise. It replaced a counter top range that had a separate oven in the wall. I would like to put a second oven where that old one was. It’s more compact - sort of if you don’t have the room. But me - like you - do a lot of cooking even one stand alone range isn’t enough.
