Add up the cost of the cabinets, the sink, the faucet, etc.everything that’s going into the kitchen, then multiply that by 2.5 and that’s about what it will cost to to have it done. Anything higher than that is too expensive. If it’s lower than 2 time the amount of materials, I would question the quality of work you’ll be getting.

It can vary greatly due to what kinds of materials you use and how high-end the new appliances are. If you can do some of the work yourself, such as laying tile or stone flooring, it will save you some money. You can learn how to do this at Home Depot - they have classes on stuff like that. Are you going to put in formica (ewww, ick) counter tops or go with something beautiful and updated like granite. That can be a huge difference in expense, but will also make the house worth more. I’m just making a total guess here, but I’d say it could be done for about $20,000 to $50,000. Like I said, there are tons of variables. Go to the home improvement stores like Home Depot or Lowes and start writing down everything you’d like, plus prices, and you’ll start to get an idea. Also you could have an estimate done by a contractor, but you’ll still have to know basically what you want. Good luck.
