Need to move light switch from one site of doorway to other.

I recently remodeled my kitchen. I had issue’s with the contractor.long story short my wall jack ended up in a very inconvenient location. I would like to move it myself especially cause the contractor left the kitchen 70% complete. Luckily I can get to all the wiring under my house it’s just that where the light switch should go there is an outlet below it and if I am not mistaken it’s in the same circuit. Thanks in advance

i need to take the base cabinet in the kitchen without damaging it .but i don’t know how to do it.do i need to take the worktop first. its a end cabinet and not attached to any other cupboard on both sides(one is the end side the other is the cooker)
i never did it and the only screws i see inside the cupboard are the ones that seem to be holding the worktop.

what can i use as a drain plug.

when we bought our house the bathroom was a disaster. we are planning on remodeling it when we have the time and money, so we didnt want to fix the tub which had the drain plug removed. i’m so craving a bath tho, and i wont have time to get to lowes/home depot and buy a new plug until late saturday or sunday when we go back for some kitchen stuff. what can i use as a plug in the meantime.

Wooden Floor Color for dark cabinets.

so, we are currently in the process of selecting a wood color for our kitchen, which we are remodeling, but we don’t know if the light cherry color that we picked would go well with our dark cabinets.

Which color flooring would go well with it. We want to do the floor right from the front door, into the kitchen, and up the stairs. The light cherry looks good both in front of the door and on the stairs, but it’s a bit dark in the kitchen, while the maple is good in the kitchen, but it looks cheap everywhere else.

Which one would you think as the best color.

Tiling question.leveling and cleaning.

I am doing a small diy tiling on a porch extension half of which is being over tiled and half is a new concrete floor laid about 3 weeks ago.I have done a little before but I am far from an expert and wouldnt make a living at it ha ha. Anyway I need to level out some spots of old laid tiles and I expect to find some spots on the concrete too. i have being using flexi adhesive on the tiled area so far and it is working out fine although I have used quite a bit extra as against what it says on the packets.
I know i could get self leveler to help balance out the floor I was just wondering if there was any other tips as i dont realy want a trip to the store on a great summer day like today.would very watery cement or adhesive work if allowed to dry and how long would it need to be left to be compleatly dry to tile .
Second question .It is very hard to keep our kitchen tiles clean because of grease and grime.when i use bleach or cleaners on them they become very slippery any tips.other than cut out my fried breakfasts ha ha . Thanks in advance

what are some foods/ desserts that are easy to make and dont require an oven.

My boyfriend and I cant cook very well but when were bored we like to cook together, when his kitchen was remodeled they left out the oven, weird I know. There’s also no microwave. We usually just make tacos or spaghettii. What are some foods or desserts that we can make without an oven, ide love for us to make sweets together but I dont know any desserts that require no oven. Any advise/ ideas/ recipeses would be helpful
