Do spirits/entities dislike when changes are made to a house.

I have to the full acceptance that my house is haunted. I live near Native American burial mounds and have had experiences in my house all of my life. (Objects moving, footsteps, a shadow figure, doors opening and closing themselves including undoing locks) Ah the list could go on forever. For the most part i’m not afraid anymore of the spirits in my house as they don’t seem malicious or evil. But I just have a question. Do spirits/entities “dislike” when things are changed in the house. This past week I’ve completely rearranged the furniture in my room and now there have been things happening nonstop. Number one, since i’ve rearranged my furniture, the lightbulb in my nightstand light keeps burning out, turning on, and in a few instances the entire lamp has been knocked to the floor. None of the nightlights I try to use will work (they either won’t work when I plug them in in my room and work fine else where, or they will work for a while and then burn out during the night). Even the kitchen light has turned on in the middle of the night, and on another night the broken fan above the stove has turned on. These aren’t electrical problems (as some will, i’m sure, suggest) nothing of this sort has happened since the day I made the changes, I feel it is paranormal. Again, my question is could it be because I’ve moved some things around that I’ve upset these spirits/entities.
Sinnerstar says:
Yes, entities are disturbed by changes in the house, although it’s usually due to reconstruction/remodeling, not just rearranging of the furniture.
Although, I’m not the ghost, so I can’t tell you if it upset them or not, LOL.
My suggestion is to leave it and see if the activity calms down after a while. If it doesn’t, call TAPS - they are paranormal investigators and would love to have a chance to capture what you have going on with their equipment.

Yes I would think so. From what I hear spirits sometimes attatch themselves to objects. Just think that you are a ghost, but you dont know you are dead, and all of a sudden some one moves all of your Sh*t arround, you probly get a little upset. I would get someone to investigate this like taps

yes, some spirits do not like it when changes are made to a house, but the stove turning on. that’s dangerous, could be a new spirit or worse a poltergeist.

Get some good feng shui, burn some sage leaves.
Put up some windchimes.
Be polite but firm. They’re not welcome if they’re going to mess up your stuff. If they can be cool, they can stay.

Yes change seems to increase the occurrence of paranormal behavior. It is usually when there are more remodeling kind of changes.
Say to whatever is in your room that it is your room and you like the change and just keep replacing the bulbs. Anything in there doesn’t like it tell it to leave. You have that power, it is your room.

Yes that is true that spirits do not like when things to the house are changed. usually more so if you are making major construction changes.
but, its YOUR house. you need to stand up for yourself, the next time something weird happens, be firm and say this is MY house, you need to stop right now. and if you don’t mind them there you can also tell them that too, like i don’t mind that your here but i do not appreciate the things you are doing, you can stay but you need to stop. or if you want them to go tell them. This is MY house, not yours, you NEED to leave now.
I have done it before, and it has worked. good luck.

Yes, they can be disturbed by remodeling and reconstruction of a house.
But usually only if the entities are attached to the house itself.

some entities will have problems with you moving the furniture but that’s usually because they have gotten used to the previous arrangement after they get used to the new arrangement they’ll settle down.
