Uh, nope, nothing for those of us who are/were responsible for NOT purchasing a home we couldn’t afford and keep making timely payments.

I think you should clarify the ‘bush recession’ and place the blame where blame is due. Slick Billy C (I did not have sex with that woman)and the CONGRESS of the past 20 years plus.

I disagree that they have nothing to gain.
20 foreclosures on your block, puts a real dent in your property value (and probably wipes out your equity, even if you don’t plan to sell now).

Actually, thousands have lost their homes because the Democrats thought home ownership was a right, or entitlement. So, banks were forced to sell products for losers with bad credit, little incomes and no downpayments.
Those that took the reasonable, responsible path to homeownership lost a considerable amount of equity in their investments, not only property but 401k’s as well.
Thanks you lowlife democrats. Reward bad behavior and rob the people who make the right decisions.

Well, a few Republicans have recently asked those very questions to Obama, with no response being given.

My take is that anyone in that situation is S.O.L.
