Be yourself — that is the only rational thing to do in this world.
If you don’t like dating women, then that is fine. Some people in this world prefer to single rather than be in a relationship and some people have different needs. Don’t let others tell you who you should be because you can’t be anyone but yourself.

Maybe the reason why people try so hard to be the person that everyone likes is because they want people’s acceptance, a little acknowledgment or because they succumb to peer pressure.

Is your question about whether or not you should be worried about your looks or if you just have some deep seeded issue with women. If its your looks don’t worry about it, like you said you can’t change your looks. If you’re worried about losing your hair, who cares. Anyone worth your time won’t be worried about that. As far as issues with women, you are right. We like being dominated. We love being ravaged. We were raised to believe your goal is to find a man to take care of you and be your protector, I’m not saying it’s right, of course there are exceptions, but most likely that’s what you will get if you want to be with a girl.

ill try not to get too simpathetic
first immpressions are key, and as important looks might bwe, both additude and personality can combined that. i hate to say wear a hat, but if you feel like you need to for a self confinence thing, go on ahead. alot of girls look for a guy to be less of a foather figure, as long as you look at the right places. Join a club or two, visit some of your townds public building or parks. Plus i also recomend the fight club metheod of going to AA or NA meeting to reflect on peoples emotions about themselvers. you dont have to talk or stand or acknowlage your their, just take a moment to take in all your thoughts.
as far as the masculinety, as long as you dont act like a testosterone jerk off girls will see mone of your true personality. Remeber also, self convidence is the key, seriously
im sorry i dont know alot about this topic, but i hope i helped allittle. good luck dood

well, at least you’re a good writer. ever thought about going into journalism or column writing. your profile pic would look good next to a magazine column or something.
anyway, about your problem. you seem like a man with a modern point of view. I totally agree with you about women being as independent as men, and occasionally stronger, but i think i know how the girls you were dating feel. it’s nice to have a person who’s different from you in a major way, but in a good way. although i’ve never understood the father figure thing. sorry, off topic. i think you should hang out more at college, if that’s where you are, because a lot of college kids are more interested in a symbiotic relationship–i couldn’t thing of a better word–and you’ll find so many kids, some will have to be like you. if you’re out of college, you shouldn’t be hanging around their campus.join an ultimate frisbee team or something you like to do, like painting. try to meet people through work, if you work at something you love. find people with similar interests to be your friends, or similar situations but that’s not the most important thing. the most important thing is for you two to be able to understand and love each other, and i don’t care how simplistic that sounds. you say you don’t respect masculinity, but you aren’t one for the touchy-feely talk either. find someone you like to spend time with. if she doesn’t like the way you look, charm her with some other talent. guys don’t get by solely on their looks. well, some do, but enough don’t to give you plenty of room. if you can make her smile and want to be with you, you’ve got a good chance. forget how handsome or whatever you look. and don’t diss all less-than-stellar-looking girls because of a bad experience with a few. maybe you’re setting yourself up for bad dates.
hey, i wouldn’t do the shrink thing if you weren’t silently asking for it. what people don’t seem to get is that they can’t be perfect so they try to make it by not listening and being egotistical until they have break downs and crack under the strain. well, that didn’t make much sense.
for the hair, i suppose you’ve tried all those miracle gells and creams. just shave it all off. it looks good on some guys. good luck, and sorry if i offended you. (or bored you to death. I realize this is pretty long.)

when are you gonna realize you have 1 life to live. you probably dont attract many girls because your confidence is so low. There is so much beyond looks. and maybe your trying to avoid this answer but its true. Everyones perspective is different. There are things about you that are so unqiue they make you sexy in your own way. Trust me, your look makes you mysterious, and you just have to teach yourself to look in the mirror and show that confidence. You can’t change the way you look, so embrace it. Maybe thats what god wants you to do. Maybe that is the right thing to do. If your looking for some magical answer, there really isnt. Unfourtantly people do care about looks, but everyone percieves everyone differently. Just like I may look to a guy, a girl might percieve my beauty differently. Work on your personality, work on becoming stronger mentally. And be a nice person. And I truly believe you will find love, and serious realtionship. Buddy, these things take time. But things like this pass. Stop over analyzing yourself, and being so paranoid about how you look, give yourself credit. People pay attention more to words that come out of your mouth. You’ll find love, someone will LOVE something about you- everyone is different. and if you have no hair. I AM 100 % positive youll meet someone who finds that sexy.
EVERYONE is different. You are part of that difference as with anyone. Appreciate yourself. You are who you are, you look the way you do for a reason. Learn to live with what you are. seriously, though.
