This is the best Greek food ever and I’m craving an Olga & Spinach pie. You can order the bread online or make it yourself, but the spinach pie comes frozen, and I’d love to order one if someone knows where to get one.

Kitchen remodel — black granite floor and black granite countertop.
By on January 25th, 2009
I have a small kitchen that I want to remodel. I like the look of the black granite floor tiles and I also like the black granite counter tops. If I were to do both in the black granite, would this look bad. I have never seen it done so I thought maybe it was a design faux pas.
What do you do if people expect you to be someone you’re not.and whom you hate.

I am well aware of how important looks are in our society.anyone who claims looks “don’t matter” is a self-delusional fool, usually someone who isn’t attractive and wants to pretend that “only shallow people” care about physical attraction.
Well, I hate how I look. I could care less what anyone else thinks. I have been discouraged from having my own opinion.everyone has argued that I should learn to think like everyone else, to adopt a majority opinion, if only to manufacture some self-esteem that I feel is unearned.
I am 6′3″, broad shouldered, and started losing my hair at 17. I have never attracted any girl I would want to date, though I dated a few of them just to make sure I wasn’t making any snap judgments. Well, my first impressions were always true - the girls were needy, desperate, and desirous of a daddy figure to dominate them and to tell them what to do. i dropped all of them within a few weeks.
I cannot change my looks - I did everything short of a toupee to get my hair back, I obviously cannot change my height and build. I have no respect for masculinity.I find the idea that men should “protect’ women to be about as stupid as telling women their place is in the kitchen, and I was disappointed to find that even when I dated women taller than me, I was still expected to “ravage” them sexually.the more aggressive I acted, the more they got off.
I’m not sure where to progress from here. I’m not interested in simplistic answers like “learn to love yourself” or “get over it”.I realize my problem is somewhat unique and many people will not have very much to say, but I still put it out there wondering if someone has any sort of advice beyond “looks don’t matter” or “most guys would love to be your size”.

Remodeling a small duplex.
By on January 22nd, 2009
We just bought a duplex and are planning on remodeling it. The kitchen and living room are not separated by a wall, but looks like one large room. We’re looking for a way to make the area look “larger and more open”, but still have the 2 spaces be their own, if that makes any sense. (not quite sure if I’m getting my idea across right) We don’t want a whole lot of renovations, just painting, redoing the floors, and perhaps some new trim and baseboards. Does anyone know of some websites that specialize in redecorating/remodeling small spaces. Any information would be a great help. Thanks in advance.
Average Prices for Kitchen, Finished Basement, Full Bath.
By on January 21st, 2009
If anyone has received an estimate or has recently remodeled/renovated their kitchen, what does an average kitchen run (excluding appliances) just decent cabinets and counter tops, along with tile flooring.
The price of a basement finishing system; walls, lighting and carpet (1200 square feet).
The price of a full bathroom - sink, toilet, tub and shower, also with tile flooring.
Just trying to see where I stand on a home I am looking at purchasing. Thanks so much and take care.
Please help me put my kitchen cupboard door back on. .

The screws have come loose and so the door keeps falling off. Is there a way that I can fill the holes with something and then screw them back in. I do not have the tool that routes out the big circle needed to put the hinge in another place. Thank you in advnace
Question about load bearing walls.
By on January 18th, 2009
Last year my husband and I bought a one story ranch that was built in 1945. The kitchen has a laundry room addition built off of it. The wall separating the laundry room and the kitchen is one of the original outside walls of our house - the wall just has an open doorway to the laundry room, and where there was obviously a window before the addition was built, they simply made it an interior window between the two rooms.
We are wanting to remodel the kitchen and remove the wall between the two rooms to make it one big room (both rooms are extremely small now. I’m talking each is 9×7.5). I was reading on one website that load-bearing walls is only an issue in multi-story houses. Is that true.
My husband is a mechanical engineer, but we are in our early twenties and don’t have a lot of experience with things like this. If load-bearing walls is a concern even in one story homes, is there a way my husband can tell if it is a load-bearing wall, and if not, what kind of contractor should we call.
Does anyone have any idea how much this might cost.
Also, If it helps, our house has no basement and is on an 18″ raised concrete slab.
