They have something in the adhesive that attracts them and they get stuck and die. Regular fly paper won’t attract them. I bought mine at Fred Meyer and also I have gotten them at the home depot. I also invested in plastic cereal containers. I keep all my cereal like items in those. They are airtight. Check pasta, cornmeal, rice ect. Check even for the larvae (worms) they go to the ceiling to hatch. They love grains.All those things go into freezer ziplocs in my pantry, It is spendy to eradicate them but then it is done. I’ve even found them in guacamole mix. Throw out what is contaminated and start new. I have used bay leaves in all my boxes and bags for 6 weeks and have not seen any new flying. In the future, buy only what you can use in a short time. Don’t forget to close all the food container tightly after use.
