If I buy a half price item of furniture in the sales can I return it if I change my mind later. .

I want to buy kitchen units for my new house but as the sale has not yet been settled, I need to be able to return the units if the sale falls through.

normally under the Sale of Goods act you can return an item for a refund if it is faulty and not fit for purpose
although some firms will accept a return if the goods are in the original packaging with a valid receipt
You’d really need to check it out with the firm you are purchasing
the items from,and find out what their returns policy is
