I have noticed the same problem in my house. Remove the moisture if possible. To kill them: place a lamp, like a reading lamp over a cup or shallow bowl with molasses or honey or anything sticky in it. Make sure the light is focused onto cup/ bowl. Or in not in your budget get on some raggedy clothes crawl under there and set off a bug bomb. Also one day while you’re gone or at work bomb your house. This kills all bugs.
