old, ugly, lead paint, asbestos, laid out wrong, kitchen needs more cabinets and counter space, old, nasty bathroom, no closets, small closets, no sunlight, no drafts for nice windy days, no ceiling lights, bad lighting design, over 70 years old, mosquitos, swamp, mice, big roaches from time to time, small ones too, gnats, small, dark, etc
Searcher says:
My house is well over 100 years old. In fact the title search says the age is undeterminable. It’s old enough that we may have ghosts in here, the closets are small. One bathroom for 4 people. Minimal wiring for electrical outlets (in fact we’re maxed out). We have rooms with no doors and almost every room has remodelling started but never finished.
So, do I hate my home. Yes. But can we move. No. In the current condition, and the declining housing market, we cannot possible get out of the house enough money to pay off the mortgage.

small, old, ugly, dirty, peeling paint, cobwebs, spiders, cockroaches, my cat eats the mice/rats, centipedes come up the drain in the shower and sink, the sink leaks, tiny rooms, 1 bathroom - 4 people, brothers never put seat down >:( lots of mosquitoes coz i live near a swamp too. gets really hot, its not finished, cant change the lightbulbs coz the ceiling is too far up, cant reach with a ladder so we have lamps everywhere, theres a wasp nest in the corner.LOTS of geckos, which means lots of poop from them, a lot of the power outlet points thingys dont work.the kitchen has no cabinets, just a wooden frame thing with a sink, it works but it looks ugly, so many ants, the washing machine doesnt work properly so you have to kick it from time to time
only 4 close friends have seen/been in my house because i trust them not to judge, im too embarrassed to point out to my friends where i live.theres a LOT more. lmao. we’re not exactly ‘well off’ but its better than what a lot of other people have, and im comfortable here
