Does anyone know of a good website that shows different layout options for rooms in the home, ie kitchen and bathroom. Or any websites where it gives you the floor space and you can put things in to see what different layouts look like.

Hello I have a little story for you.
I do co-op at a 60 year old womans house, she teaches yoga. In return for basically free classes, I help her organize her things and clean. She is very messy and I am her gear to change. She tells me that she hasn’t been in her kitchen in seriously a year, and that there’s even mice in there. I am not being asked to do this, but her house is gorgeous so I have this weird knack to clean it. I need your ideas on tools I’m gonna need and maybe some techniques you can think of that would help me tackle this situation.

I had a Dream about Vampires, Mountain Lions, Horses, and peoples Death. Help.

ok so this is how my dream goes.

i started at my riding stable on a sunday morning. i was leading my horse up a large grassy hill to where the cross ties where in between two large trees with a large dense forest infront of it. i turn around and my riding instructor tells me to come to her. so i tie my horse to one cross tie. but as i do it, i get this terrible feeling, almost overpowering, that something bad would happen. but i tie him anyway and start down the hill. when i was half-way down the hill, i turn around and see this huge mountain lion jump out of the trees and gouge out my horses right flank (or his thigh) and my horse screams in pain, breaks away from his cross tie and limps down the hill heading toward his stall, with the mountain lion chasing him. and so i start chasing after them and when i go into my horses stall i suddenly appear in my room. with these two huge vent on the wall. and suddenly i hear mountain lion growling on the other side of the vents, and so my older brother appears and together we push furniture infront of these vents. and so i turn my back to the vents and start to talk with my brother when he says “vampire” and so i say “what.” then he repeats “vampire” then i turn around and see the furniture pushed out of the way and one of the vents were open. so i leave my room and i am suddenly in my kitchen. with my school classmates all around me. and then they all vanish and i am left alone with my brother, i believe my dad, and this guy from my class, who happens to have this long necklace with garlic cloves. so we each get some of the garlic cloves and then i turn and see this girl from my class dressed for school with a lunch box and a backpak standing in the hallway. i say to her “hurry and get some” and then she turns and her face is very pale and her eyes are blood red and she shrugs at me before she disapears. then one of the vampires appear. and he is somewhat tall, bald, pale, and ugly. dressed in black. for some reason i touch a piece of garlic to his hand and i ask him “does that burn” and then he touches his hand and says no. then i am suddenly outside sitting at a picnic bench with my brother, dad, and the guy from my class. my dad says we have to kill these things and says that we need to do it in a cathedral and that he knew just the place. but then a vampire appears with a gun, places the gun on the ground, points to my dad and says fix it. (my dad used to be in the military) so my dad reaches to pick up the gun, and i suddenly get the feeling that something bad was going to happen, and i wanted badly to scream and stop him, but i couldnt. so he picks up the gun and it explodes, and all i could do was stare even though i wanted to go to him.

and this is when i wake up. please can anyone help me. this dream disturbed me very much and i am desperatly wanting to know what it means. please. even if you only know something about a certain part it will be appreaciated. im sorry it was long but i couldnt help it. thanks in advance.

How do I lay tile in my “foyer”.

I have a small area in front of my back door that I would like to tile. I recently ripped up the old linoleum and all I have now is a sub floor. It’s hard to keep clean, and looks gross.
My husband keeps saying he will tile it, but never finds the time. I do not want to hire a handy man since times right now are tight. And this is not an emergency. I have done other home repairs and remodeling without his help.
I have a wet saw for tiles, and all the other tools I believe I might need. But i am looking for someone who can give me step by step instructions on how to lay the tile down. How to measure, where to start, how to put down the tile glue, etc. My knowledge of construction is quite limited. So if explained in a simple manner would be appreciated. And a list of the items needed to complete this job.
The tiles I will be laying are 12″ ceramic tiles (already purchased) and the area is approximatly 3′ x 4′ . There are doorways on each side. Basement door, outside door, bathroom door, and an entry way into my kitchen.

glitter spray on glass table.

ok i was decorating my jeans for halloween. well, i used some spray on glitter meant for hair and body on them. it worked well on the jeans, but it went through the sheet i had placed on the table and got on the glass. it washed out of the sheet fine, but we can’t get it out of the glass and wood. we have tried glass cleaner on it 5 times but no luck.

how do you get this stuff out. my mom might be mad if she sees her table covered in glitter.

note: i wanted to do it on the floor, mom said do it on the kitchen table but put a sheet under it.

also, it’s in parenting because generally moms know the most about removing glitter from furniture from having little ones.

15th birthday party ideas.

Im having my 15th birthday party in november or december its undecided. But I was going to rent a clubhouse for a night. I was thinking of having a dancing party a lil like homecoming. But i might need more ideas or a theme. I might also need ideas of what to have at the cluhouse and anything else. The clubhouse does have bathrooms and a kitchen its a two story.

she is 8 weeks old and we need some tips on potty training her.and also we both work during the day and we need some ideas on the best way to keep her safe while we are gone.She is very smart.and she can climb over just about anything.fences,gates.Neither my husband or I agree in crate-training a puppy her age(with little bowel control) as we have been advised to do by other dog owners.especially for 8 hours.and leaving her closed off in our kitchen had her tearing at our floors.Any advice would be much appreciated.Especially from Husky/Malamute owners.Thankyou.
I do believe in crate training.just not for atleast another month when she has more bowel control.She does get alot of exercise.and I will be going on maternity leave soon so I will have more time to spend with her

What is a good complementatry color for rich taupe.

I am painting my house rich taupe and have an accent wall and am doing the kitchen a different color. I was going to do red, but it is way tool bright. Any ideas would be appreciated.

dark almost burgandy ceramic tile in the foyer which meets that white ceramic tile in the kitchen/breakfast area and carpet in the living area. All different colors. I would like a uniform look - my hubby does not want to change the kitchen floor - what should I use inthe living room and front foyer. I am planning to put biege or light colored carpet in my kids bedroom and debating the kids bathroom floor. I dont want the house to look like a crazy decorator used remants to put this place together help.

How to store plates in a drawer in the kitchen. .

We are wrapping up our kitchen remodel and want to keep our dinner plates and bowls in a drawer instead of a cabinet. We have seen this on TV, but cannot locate any organizers to purchase that will keep the plates from sliding. I’ve seen one on a website that can be pulled out (to take the whole stack of plates to the table, for instance), but the product was not for sale. Also, I’ve seen ones that you can make with peg-board type material that uses dowels to hold the plates in place. We’d rather not have to make something, if we can help it.

Do you have any other ideas.
