I have ACww ds and need help designing it.
I have to desingn my right room and back room,
already have a kitchen, & bedroom (mush theme), in my main room i have 2 couches and a TV, also a piano and dresser.

But i don’t know how to design my other 2 rooms.
Help and include what theme to use or what items to use.

its an open space and everything in it is white from walls to cabinets and floors but then the hallway is next to it and the carpet there is like a grayish blue and the stairs to go to the 2nd floor the handles are stained brown color

I am remodeling my kitchen and I have the granite picked out. It is Saphire Blue. It has a mix of colors in it.blue, black and a sandstone (orangy-brown). I also have cabinets that are a light maple color with a coffee glaze. I picked out tile for the floor and a tile backsplash that will really bring out the sandstone color in the granite. I was thinking of painting my walls a bluish gray to bring out the blues in the granite but am wondering if that is too dark of a color for a kitchen. Any advice on wall colors would be greatly appreciated. Please help.

Tips for decorating an apartment.

So.I just moved out of my parents house with my best friend. we have a three bedroom apartment with 1 bath 1 den and a kitchen. We have clashing tastes when it comes to decorating. She likes sleek modern monochromatic and I like bright colors and flowing lines. We decorated our bedrooms fine but we are having trouble when it comes to decorating the den. We have a tan microsuede loveseat and chocolate brown ottoman.where do we go from here.

Should women be given decisions.

You ask a woman to make a decision she cant come to a decision. Women have been proven to be good and loyal servants however not very good at being decisive or using logic. For example have you ever known a woman who can really go to the bathroom for less than 10 mins or pay the bills properly without being distracted by something fickle like shiny shoes. No. Well my case rested how about your experiences dont you just think women should accept their place in modern society not as in the kitchen but as good sidekicks.

Is there a less expensive way to keep my son safe than those expensive gates.

My son, now 8 months old, is very interested in exploring. I find him sometimes in the kitchen or trying to eat the cat food or even playing in the way of the front door. I’ve started using pillows to block off any exits from the living room. This however, is only a temporary solution. I looked into getting gates, but they run upwards of $40 and I just don’t have that kind of money to spend on gates. Is there a less expensive DIY way to block of these areas, or are there less expensive gates out there.

Remodelling kitchen. Should I hire a Certified Kitchen Planner.

I’m going to do a moderate kitchen renovation. We’re keeping the same floor plan, but would like to replace the cabinets, counters, floor + appliances. It’s not going to be some fancy european gourmet kitchen . . just a 2008 version of what is already there.

Given the limited electrical and plumbing work, I’m fairly confident I can direct much of the work myself.

I have considered hiring a “Certified Kitchen Planner”, but have no idea of their rates or fees or if they add much value. I’ve heard that they get substantial disounts from cabinet makers. If they can give me the plan, I’m happy to shop around for the best cabinets and manage the remodelling myself.

Has anyone done this. Is it cheaper/better to just go to Lowes or Home Depot (as in, is the full package deal that a high volume dealer like Home Depot better than something an independant certified kitchen planner can provide).

.that has words in it. I’m keeping a dance-off party at my house, and I need a few techno or club songs that has at least a few words in it. They can have curses in it too. I only have a few:
1. Nasty Creep- DJ Kitchen
2. Face Down A– Up- I forgot lmao
3. On the Floor- Felix Project
4. Sektor 9

And that’s all I can think of at the moment. I know they’re kinda dirty songs lol. But any more ideas.

*Oh and pleasseee no radio-techno-pop songs like Never See Me Again by September or Miracle by Cascada. Those suck lol.

Japanese Kitchen Knives.

What makes Japanese kitchen knives worth between
$300 up to OVER a THOUSAND DOLLARS for one knife.

I was reading an article about cooking by a chef and he
talks about knives:

“I personally prefer Japanese steel in my knives but there are also some excellent quality European knives as well. For those with the big budget I strongly recommend Hattori knives (go for the HD or KD series - they will cost upwards of $300 a knife). The knife pictured above is a 27cm Hattori KD Chef’s Knife ($1,175).”

Can anyone explain to me why I should buy a $300. knife
when to me, a $8.00 knife seems to suffice. And it last
for years too.
By the way, I omitted the picture. Looks
like an ordinary Chef knife.
I don’t like all steel knives, they rust
too easily. Even the expensive ones.
The only real advantage is that when
you sharpen them, you can get a keener
blade than with alloys.

Should I be careful.

I have a partner who is really awsome, but when he gets mad he gets really violent. A couple of days ago he got mad at me and threw his phone at his wall and broke it. He blamed me for it. In another occasion, I was playing arround with him and he got mad and hit me. Then there was one time when I was cooking for us and he got mad for some reason and pushed me into the kitchen pantry. other than that he’s an awsome guy. I’m a year younger than him so maybe its my fault for being a little imature, he is mature for his age. What should I do.
