Houses can run from about $100 to $200 a square foot, and up, to build, and a lot of the difference depends on options you build into the unit. high end cabinets, doors, windows,ect.And take into account where you are geologically. earthquake,hurricaine ect. lf eatrhquake, l’d go wood frame,it has more give and less likely to shake apart if strapped well. l prefer block here, hurricaines. To build the shell the price difference between these two is not that much, but if you like fancy finishes, example; ( high end siding for wood frame, or detailed stucco work on block), things like that.You get the idea, Good luck.
