Hi, i am remodelling my home, and i was thinking about joining directbuy. i have gone to the initial seminar, and i was given a 3 day no risk trial. Is it worth $5000 for 3 years, because i am planning to good quality products:
a big screen TV, about 5 sofas, a washer and dryer, a dish washer, kitchen tiles, cabinets, freezers and everything else for a kitchen. new carpets, a dining table and a few other tables for the living room. im also remodelling 2 bathrooms and getting new beds.
Their sales pitch was quite convincing, and they seemed to have a lot of things, but the catalog they gave me to take that had very few things, and did not give their price for everything. So those of you who are members, would you say the savings are worth it.

Put their name into the search engine and you will find many unsatisfied customers. They aren’t all they seem from what I understand.
It is a large upfront fee so move forward slowly.
I have never talked personally with anyone that has used them. I am just passing on what I found in my research.

I researched this very thoroughly last year when starting to build a house. What I found out was that it was NOT worth it. From my findings unless you are a builder or designer that will use your membership on several homes you are not going to save enough to cover the $5000. Also I was warned that most of their inventory is discontinued stock and not warrantied. Proceed with caution.
