Have a look at the B&Q web site, the sell paint suitable for the tasks. I have posted links to both types of paint. I hope this helps and good luck. Have a look in their knowledge centre they may have tips on how to tackle the projects.

don’t get your paint from b and q, it may be cheaper than trade paints but it will take more coats to cover anything

the crownpaints website might help you

Tile paint - use international tile paint (available B&Q, homebase etc) pretty good stuff but will need 2 coats over darker colours - about £12 per tin. Kitchen cupboards: try applying acrylic primer/undercoat (crown is good) using a small 6″ gloss roller (you get a small paint tray to use with it) the rollers are foam or flock and don’t leave brush marks. you can then paint using a satin finish gloss - or Dulux Satinwood using the roller again - for a long-lasting finish.
