My home is almost ten years old.started with the basics in decorating my kitchen. Now I have the opportunity to revamp it.colors I have chosen are in the teal family. My friend suggested browns, reds, earthy tones. I have looked at hobby lobby, michaels, Ross, etc. but can not find anything interesting. Does anyone know where I can find such items at discount or do it yourself stores.
Any themes that I should go with.

Do it yourself stores have a large selection of books on different home subjects. They will have what your looking for. The books are usually up in the front area. I hope this helps.

Teal sound great. How about putting some bronze things in. I’ve just started web site http://DreamFlipper.com, check out the indoor outdoor section. Happy hunting and good luck.

Stay away from themes in your kitchen, you will grow tired of them long before you may be ready to redo the room. HGTV is having a whole week of kitchen redos next week.

I would watch lots of shows on HGTV such as design on dime, hidden potential, there is a special kitchen program. It never hurts to search craigslist.org for some nice finds. However its like shopping at marshalls or Ross you have to take your time and weed through all the ads.
