When my (2 story) house was built, they put the window in the shower too low, and the windowsill slightly slopes in instead of out. Now when the shower is on, the water sits on the windowsill and pools up there then runs down the inside of the wall into the kitchen cieling.
In the kictcen -it is U shaped- you cant open the dishwasher and the cabinet door under the sink at the same itme. The sink is at the bottom of the U and the measurment is only off by less than 2 inches. Very inconvienent.

low kitchen counters and sinks give me back aches. sometimes the fridge is set inside a cabinet sort of a space that looks like an upside down U, it heats up the fridge for nothing and its difficult to clean it. deep cabinets in the kitchen and very low or high ones. I always feel there should be a system like “drawers” so that one can pull out a cabinet and then push it back in. its so much simpler for ppl with bad backs or the elderly or even normal folk. There should be a built in space with sockets in kitchens for permanent handy places for mixers, blenders etc. For the bathroom, a window and an exhaust is mandatory to get rid of the mildew, if it is airy there wont be any.
good luck with school
