What kind of kitchen cabinets should I get based onthis picture.

I did everything backwards, got the floor, backsplash, appliances, sink, faucet put in with a new quartz countertop.
then I thought I could reface the cabinets because they were solid wood, not particle board. Or paint the boxes and get new doors.
What do you think would look good with these.
I just moved in and had the floors replaced with dark maple and a dark tile, with the quartz countertop, so I can’t remove that now (backwards, I know)

I’d also like to get those pull-out cabinets for my pantry instead of louvered doors.
What color wood or what color paint perhaps with glazing would look good.
It’s a 70’s split level that I’m trying to get to look more craftsman styling. Thank-you

ur kitchen is very dark.i would go with a light color like a cream wash style.use glass doors in the uppers to open the room up.lowes has a good amount of colors to look at.

Either cherry or a dark maple with a simple rectangular groove on the face as opposed to the arches. I would also use the pull outs rather than the louver door.saves on space too. While you are at it, put floor length drapes at your window behind the table. The short ones cut your wall in half which makes the room look much smaller.

I like this color, but kitchens are such a personal decision. I would recommend looking at DIY or HGTV and look at makeovers, look for something close to what you have.
As for your paint, choose a color you already have in your counters or backsplash- pick one of the colors in the background and go a shade lighter or darker from there.

I would let the cupboards alone for a year or so. Live with it. It looks like good wood to me. With black appliances, if you go much lighter, they will stick out like sore thumbs. I would paint the walls a soft yellow, or maybe light burnt orange. Put a shelf up above the sliding doors and the windows. Put a rod thru the wooden shelf brackets and hang your drapes on it from wooden rings. On the window wall, extend the shelf from wall to wall, meeting up with the one above the door. Then use some nice terra cotta pots, old world stuff, pictures, a green item, and if you can extend an electric outlet up there, I would use a candle lamp or so to accent. Then use a brighter drape. It is too dark there. Use sheers in the summer if the neighbors are not close to you. Then use an accent table runner with a candle or pot. Lighten up what you can. Go ahead and install the slide out drawers but use some slide out baskets to hold all those snacks. The baskets are great. Think about the craftsman’s style of cabinetry, look at the pictures of Frank Lloyd Wright’s windows and dry to design a cabinet door either in wood or a stained glass insert. Glass is not too hard to work with and it would be nice to have the upper cabinets with stripes of glass with corner accents. Go take a class and then you will know how to work with glass. That is why I would live with the cabinets like they are for awhile.

Personally I think the cabinets look great. They are in good condition. I would clean them and apply a stain a few shades darker and just change the hardware (handles).

and since you have effectively locked in the cabinets i would face them and order new doors online, there are many companies that just make doors for refacing work.
