you get quite reasonably priced kitchens from uk, if you are prepared to fit it yourself

some ranges start from £ 3 per door, and £15 for a cabinet

maybe you should have a look at your nearby B&Q or wickes.

if you plan it well and make a budget it should be fairly straightforward, whats more, if something is missing, (like a side panel) or another spare is required, all you have to do is pop into your nearest store rather than wait for the shipment to arrive from another country .

Not at all knowing what cabinetry costs in the UK, or your access to it, I suspect I might determine the cost, from Francce, possible currency exchange rates, and certainly shipping/delivery costs. Balance those against driving to a local, and compare.

I have no idea at all, how cabinetry might be shipped, but if it isn’t delivered direct to your door, IE: by truck, through the CHUNNEL, I assume you’ll have to engage a delivery service, or the seller will, either from a port or an airport.

I have installed improrted Italian Kitchens a fraction of the cost of inflated British equivalents. If you want something better than the run of the mill diy store junk, you should definitely look into it, especially if you are going over there for other reasons.

I don’t know the price of kitchens from France but I do know that British kitchens are well over priced. I find that a good way of getting a great deal is to get two kitchen companies to compete with each other as they usually all stock similar or even the same ranges. Phone one company up and ask them for their best quote and then phone another company and ask if they can beat it, keep rallying back and forth until you get a good price. Literally you can save a good thousand. Hope this helps

I do beleive that Magnet are the cheapest, with good offers, you will need a handyman or plumber or fitter to open an account with them, ask him/her to get it for you at trade plus 10% for their time, it will also give you time to pay, 60 days I believe.
