They use a foil that works on wood and run the moulding through rollers and heat to press on the foil. I would be a skeptic about using this on cabinets even it you laquered it. It’s a veneer glued over the particle board/plywood with contact cement. I have seen rolls of it for sale at Home Depots, but if you plan on doing a lot of surface area, it would be much cheaper to buy larger rolls, maybe online.
