		<description>Hopefully you have renters insurance. If so, phone them for details on how you are covered. The landlord isnt responsible for weather-damage(unless theres a leaky roof or broken windows).</description>

		<description>So where is your apartment manager.  You&#8217;ve contacted them of course.  They should have someone out there solving this problem ASAP, cleaning the carpeting in your apartment to prevent mold.  I&#8217;d be on the phone demanding service.you pay the rent.  Get some action going here.  

In the mean time, shop vacs to get the water out of the carpet, at least.  The carpeting might have to be pulled and professionally dried.  Your apartment might have suffered drywall damage too.</description>
